E3 07 - done and dusted
Weekly update star reporter Andy Wells must have been feeling really bad about missing the last GameArena weekly update due to his trans-pacific E3 2007 journey - he's been interviewing like a madman.

Today on BigPond GameArena we have a huge stack of new game developer and publisher interviews, including a couple from some big name titles I know a few of you are hanging out for. Check it:

If that's not enough, GameArena's video coverage of both Sony PlayStation and Activision's press conferences are now also online. Don't miss either of those!

Back on the home front, Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is now on Aussie shelves for PC gamers, bringing the Tom Clancy branded tactical shooter to a new group of players. Unlike past Ubisoft first person shooter titles however, they've put a little more effort into the PC dedicated server. Thanks to that, for the first time ever we've been able to set up a server for Australians to play on with decent latency (although still not as simple a task as most PC shooters).

The GameArena Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 server should now be appearing in the in-game browser. Sort by 'ping' and it should be at or near the top of your list. It's still a work in progress, so if you have any suggestions regarding game modes and map cycles be sure to share and as always, if there is population demand we will look at running more servers to accommodate.

Mass Effect - looks good
Xbox 360 enjoyed a big E3 this year with plenty of exclusive titles on show, this week we have on-site impressions from two big players from the Xbox camp, Project Gotham Racing 4 and Mass Effect.

Bizarre Creations stepped us through the latest Project Gotham Racing title. With new locations, sweet weather effects and the introduction of motorcycles, PGR4 isn't resting on its laurels - read up for the highlights from our E3 demo.

Our in-depth look at Bioware's Mass Effect comes courtesy of the game's project director as well as the company president. With this one touching down in November, will Xbox 360 owners be feeling the one-two interstellar punch of it and Halo 3? Check out our write-up and find out.

In non-E3 related news: Rockstar have announced Bully Scholarship Edition for the Xbox 360 and Wii, a port of the controversial, yet critcally acclaimed PlayStation 2 title, sold around these parts as Canis Canem Edit.

The press release doesn't offer a great amount of detail, only that the new ports "boast additional content" and will be released this Winter - so this summer here in Australia.

Sony presses PAUSE
Sony had a big showing at this years E3 with some of the most exciting upcoming titles on display. But Sony is an international company and what's announced for North America and Japan might not necessarily be the same for Australians.

Cue Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and their "PAUSE" press events. BigPond GameArena was on-site at this week's PAUSE, read on for our report, including Aussie details on the 60GB PS3 and the new model PSP.

Back to E3 again, another big casual title on show was Guitar Hero 3. Once the crowned king franchise of the rhythm game market, ol' GH now has the likes of Rock Band to contend with. Publisher Red Octane has enlisted Guns and Roses and Velvet Revolver legend Slash to go into battle this round. Here's how we went in our hands-on session.

Hot: Super Mario Galaxy
You've read our reports on the Microsoft and Sony contingent at E3 2007, but what about the third player? Nintendo hasn't been forgotten here on BigPond GameArena and Steve was on-site scoping out all things new and upcoming from the big N. Read on for our in-depth report.

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis, the ping-pong sim that pleasantly surprised a few folks when it launched on Xbox 360 last year is making its way to the Nintendo Wii.

Although the graphics will obviously be scaled down from the Xbox version to accommodate the Wii, it certainly seems like a perfect fit for the console's motion sensing mechanism. Rock Star Games present Table Tennis is due to ship for Wii this September at a $69.95 price point.

Serious fun with Tiger
Golf is pretty much the best game in the world, however there are times you just can't play. You may be on public transport. You may be on a date. You may even be wanting to play when it's dark. Luckily now you can get top notch golfing action whenever you want.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is the perfect answer. Carve up the turf as the world's most recogniseable sportsman. And best of all, the risk of being struck by lightning whilst playing golf on your phone is significantly less than the real thing. Play it smart, play it safe - play golf on your mobile.
