NFS: bumper or barred?

Gamers everywhere remember the Need for Speed series, and not always for the same reason - one thing that stays constant is fast cars and slow traffic. Taking away the street racing puts Need For Speed ProStreet in the same league as the Forza and Gran Turismo series - can it compete or does it get left behind?

Better late then never GameArena has hit up the latest addition to the seasonal sports sim Pro Evo Soccer 2008.

After a series of "beta" patches, Epic Games has finally given the world the official Unreal 3 Patch. GameArena wasted no time getting the patch up locally as well as updating our servers so grab the patch and get back in the game!

Finally, Crysis players stay tuned - early in the new year we will be kicking off online qualifiers. Entry numbers will be limited so make sure you keep checking to avoid missing out - and get practising!

Chief: down with the DLC

Heaps of content hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace in the last week - Forza Motorsport 2 content hit the marketplace with 11 new cars and a brand new track available - together they cost only 500MS points.

Also bursting onto the XBLM this week was the Halo 3 Map Pack, weighing in at 800MS points.

Capping off Xbox news legendary promoter Don King is putting his name on 2K Sports upcoming contender Don King Presents: Prizefighter. The game is coming in Autumn 08 for the Xbox 360, Wii and DS.

GTA IV drives forward

Unreal Tournament 3 on the PS3 is one step closer to matching its PC cousin. Keyboard and mouse support is a definite on the console, but Epic also announced the PS3 version would support Modding.

The two guys responsible for one of the first ever music rhythm games, Parappa the Rapper, are working on a game for the Wii. Hot info within!
